Russell T Davies, OBE (born Stephen Russell Davies,[1] 27 April, 1963), is a homosexual Welsh television producer and writer. He is known for spearheading the successful revival of the popular science-fiction television series Doctor Who, and creating its spin-off series Torchwood, both of which feature his creation, popular omnisexual/bisexual character Jack Harkness. He also wrote Bob and Rose, the story of a homosexual identified man who falls in love with a woman. His production of Casanova also has contains some bisexuality.
